Basketball star Mikey Williams to disclose NFT collection

Mikey Williams, a USA top youth basketball star, announced to his 3.2 million Instagram followers on Thursday the exhibition of his own NFTs.

Williams, a 6-foot-2 guard of Charlotte Vertical Academy, rationed a tease of his NFT on his Instagram page. He claims that over 28 scholarship invitations, including Kansas and UCLA. Other top programs like Arizona, Memphis, Oregon, and Arkansas have reportedly requested him.

NFT (non-fungible token) is a property created digitally and authenticated. NFT’s are highly exclusive and serves as a good route to get virtual products related to celebrities, athletes, companies, and more.

One of the newly popular NFTs to come to completion was incited by the passing of late Kobe Bryant – the KB24 NFT on Bryant’s website.

What does this mean for Mikey Williams?
Williams’ team is pursuing the same strategies as the KB24 NFT, using a discord group to raise attention and intensify the value of the NFT before it is published.
