💚 NFTs are getting better by the day.

Spotify is currently seeking a team to integrate Web3 technologies like NFTs into its platform, according to the most recent job posting.

Spotify is a Swedish-based online media and music service. Spotify serves as one of the largest music streaming services, with over 406 million monthly active users and 180 million premium subscribers by December 2021.

Non-fungible tokens (also known as NFTs) are digital data units that cannot be modified or duplicated from one asset to another. The blockchain, a form of digital ledger, is also where NFTs are sold and traded. A wide range of NFT data units, such as photographs, movies, and audio files, can be linked to digital assets of this kind.

Streaming music service would not be the first to include Web3 capabilities like NFTs into its platform. As of January of this year, the microblogging website Twitter has introduced a capability for showcasing NFT display images. In addition, Meta (Formally Facebook) CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced last week that Instagram, a photo and video sharing social media site, also plans to integrate NFTs on its platform said Zuckerberg.

In the form of photos, Twitter had first brought NFTs to the site. Instagram is likely to follow and include NFTs into its platform as photos. Music streaming services are likely to incorporate NFTs in audio format on their platforms and this is a positive impact on the whole NFTs community.
